Spring 2008 Tournaments

Last year, the girls’ lacrosse program held a very successful LUYAA Lacrosse Festival, where all teams played home games on 1 day at the same location.  The festival included games, prizes, and concessions. Fun was had by all!  This year we plan to bring this festival to the entire LUYAA lax program.  Tentatively scheduled for May 3 at Old National Pike Park, we will be in touch with more information.

Also, each team has the opportunity to participate in 1 season tournament included in your registration fee.  Teams may choose to participate in additional tournaments on a pay-as-you-go basis.

Girls Tournaments
 

U9 and U11- This age bracket has the opportunity to participate in the Western Maryland (WMYLC) tournament to be held this year at Heritage Farm Park on June 14 or 15.
 

U13 and U15- Once again we will attend the extremely popular and successful

Cherry Blossom Festival, in Washington, D.C., hosted by The Potomac Chapter of US Lacrosse on Saturday, April 12.

Your registration fee this year includes both the tournament and transportation costs for all players.  Transportation may be available for parents at an additional cost.

This is a festival -no tournament champion is named and scores are not recorded. Games are played on the National Mall in Washington, DC on fields located next to the reflecting pool between the Lincoln and World War II Memorials.

US Lacrosse U15 Youth Lacrosse Festival, June 20^th – 22^nd at the Golden Goal Lacrosse Tournament Park near Lake George, NY. 
US Lacrosse U13 Youth Lacrosse Festival, June 13^th – 15th at King’s Island, Ohio

A parent & player information meeting will be held March 9th at Hood College Auditorium, 7:00 pm.
