Golf 2007

Great Golf Season!

We have concluded our LUYAA Golf for this spring; we hope that it was a great experience for all of your children.  LUYAA had around 60 kids that played the great sport of golf.  During the Spring 2007 season, LUYAA had two golf teams.  These teams were at the Rattlewood Golf Course and West Winds Golf Club.

The success of our programs depends on volunteers.  LUYAA Golf would not be able to happen without the dedication from our parents and volunteers who made this year a success, we know that it takes a great commitment from all of you and we appreciate the support!  A special thank you to Chip Clusman, Billy Clusman, Kevin Salter and Joe Cook; these individuals stepped up and were running the show during our sessions.  Without you guys this season would not have been possible.

This year LUYAA Golf will be sponsoring an end of year 9 hole tournament for all of our LUYAA golfers.  It is scheduled for Friday, June 22nd at Rattlewood Golf Course and is tentatively scheduled to start at 5:00pm.  Depending on the amount of people who sign up will determine if we need to start a little earlier.  We ask that the LUYAA golfer pair up with an adult for this tournament, if the parents don’t play they can most certainly ask another family member or another adult.  We strongly encourage your LUYAA golfer to play in this event.  You will need to sign up with your child’s name and their adult partner no later than Monday, June 11th.  Please e-mail me at golf@luyaa.org with the players’ information.  We can not except any sign ups after June 11th so please sign up early.  If you have any questions please feel free to e-mail as well.
