1. How Do I Register my kids for LOUYAA Sports
Online? Just visit our webpage at
www.louyaa.org. Click on the
tab for Registration.
2. Why does registration
open so early? To begin sport
seasons on time with the proper number of teams, coaches and an adequate supply
of equipment and field allocations, sports commissioners need a good idea of how
many participants are registered. Please make every effort to register
your child as early as possible after registration opens.
3.
Your system is charging me for the Annual Membership Fee, but I already
paid it. What should I do?
The system verifies the member fee by crosschecking your home
phone number. Please make sure you have entered your home
phone number correctly. If you have changed your number, we will have to
update it in the system. Contact
registrar@luyaa.org for assistance. The $25
Annual Family Membership fee will be charged, each
calendar year, beginning with spring
registration.
The annual fee contributes to the overall expenses that
the organization incurs in advertising, postage,
insurance, and other fees that are not paid for by the
individual sport programs. The annual fee entitles
each family to a vote in general membership meeting
proceedings of the organization and eligibility for
members' children to participate in activities.
4. Why
am I being charged a Field/Facility Fee per registration?
It is necessary to offset increases in charges for the use of fields and
facilities where our children play all year.
5. I
have questions before I sign up. Who do I contact? You can find
contact information on our
website. Please direct sport related questions to the sport
commissioners. The Webmaster, Registrar, Business Manager, Treasurer etc,
will not be able to answer sport related questions.
6.
Your system won't let me sign my child up for a higher age level. What
do I do?
Most sports have restrictions on age set by the leagues they play in.
Check with the sport commissioner to see if they will allow your child to
"Play Up". You can find
contact information on our
website.
7. Why does my sport say it is taking a waiting
list? This means that the sport is full, but that the commissioner is taking a
waiting list in case a spot opens up. If you register for the waiting
list, you will still have to pay, but will get a full refund if you child is
not placed on a team.
8.
I don't have a credit card, or my credit card has been declined.
How do I pay? You will have to contact the
registrar to make payment
arrangements. Registrations are not complete until payment is
received. The system does allow for payment by check as well.
9. I need to get
a refund. What should I do?
Refunds are processed only through the Refund Request form. The form will be automatically submitted to the appropriate persons for
approval. Refunds will be made by check and mailed within 1-2 weeks.
10. If
I have a problem with my child's coach, who do I contact?
If you have a question or problem, your coach is your first point of
contact within the chain of command. If you have a problem with the coach,
you should contact the sport commissioners, listed in the 'About Us' section of
our website. If you still don't find a satisfactory resolution to your
concern, you may then address an e-mail to the Board of Directors at
bod@luyaa.org.
11. I need to
change my e-mail in my registration records. What should I do?
To update your e-mail in our
registration database, please
registered with two e-mail addresses, you will have to submit
the form twice, once for each email.
12. I can't figure this out and I am totally lost.
What should I do? Please complete the
Support Form for more
help.
