PROGRAM SUPPORT
Field Committee:
Various positions available.
Please select one of the following:
Field Liner-
Each team needs a field liner who will be
assigned either a practice or game field to line
each week. No experience required, training
provided. (It’s mostly going over lines we’ll
set up at the beginning of the season)
Field Clean Up Crew-
Each team will need someone to make sure we
leave our practice and game fields free of
trash. You will either be assigned to your
practice field or game day field.
Goal Mover-
to move goals to/from the fields at the
beginning and/or end of the season. You will
need a truck, and a flatbed trailer is helpful.
Field Maintenance-.
If you work for a landscaping company, that’d be
great, but anyone can help. We could use help
with spreading dirt, grass seed or lime, or
provide advice on how to improve our fields.
We hire landscapers to aerate, seed and
fertilize, but any help we can get lets us keep
down costs, get advice to do it right and
improve the condition of our fields.
Field Mowing-
If you have a way to transport a mower, this is
a great position for you! Fields are routinely
mowed by schools/parks and rec, but we
occasionally find the grass is too tall on game
day. This only happens a couple of times late in
the spring where the grass is growing faster
than they can mow it. You will be assigned a
field and be responsible to make sure it is cut
for game day.
Fundraising Committee:
These volunteers may help with apparel sales
and/or additional fundraising activities that
occur.
Festival Committee:
Here we will need countless people to help with
parking, concessions, organization, set up crew,
clean up crew, communications, etc. See
“Tournament” tab for more information. You can
be on the Festival Planning Committee, or
volunteer 2 hours of your time at the event as a
Festival Volunteer.
